How to Backup or Restore Smart POS
The following video clip will demonstrate how to backup and restore the Ebmbook SmartPOS.
NOTE: For the backup and restore to work, you need to have the premium version of Ebmbook SmartPOS, otherwise you won’t be able to see the backup and restore features.
The backup procedure is recommended soon after you have completed setting up your inventory. For invoicing only, you may backup your data whenever you have enough invoices.
The reason for the recommended backup procedure is that Ebmbook SmartPOS is an offline application, it doesn’t store any of your data onto the Ebmbook Servers. Therefore, if you crash or lose your device, your data will be lost forever.
