About Server and Client Terminal data Sync
Basically, the Server Terminal sends almost all the data needed by the Client Terminal. It does not send useless data which isn’t required by the ECT.
The only data ECT SENDS to the EST:
- Customers
- Notes & Memos
- Customer Orders
- Till Reports
- And, attendance related information
Why ECT has missing updates?
It’s strongly recommended to keep the connection between ECT and EST on in order for both to have up to date data. In case, ECT isn’t connected to the EST for more than 30 days, the updates they sync with each other won’t be available anymore. In such instance, the ECT has to be factory restored in order to pick all the up to date information from the EST.
Currently, due to data security reason we haven’t enabled this feature yet. However in future, the system will automatically be factory restored and pick the updated data from the EST.
